WHAT I WORE:
H&M: Pants
Forever 21: Jacket, Top & Bag
Target: Booties
Rue 21: Necklace
Ralph Lauren: Sunnies

Hello Happy Friday! It's been awhile since my last post. Now, I'm back and ready for all that blogging! I'm so thrilled to be going to a beach wedding this weekend, I hope to show you all lots of fun adventures from this trip!

You know they say that money is not everything, but it’s a means to survive and to help others. When I put this outfit together, the green emphasized new beginnings…SPRING TIME! If you haven't notice, I absolutely love this pastel green top it reflects money. Of course, I had to compliment it with more green by pairing this top with my favorite emerald green pants and bringing it together with a plaid cropped blazer. Do you love this green ensemble?

ZEBRA BLUE.....

WHAT I WORE:
H&M: Pants
Vintage: Jacket
H&M: Top
Unknown: Shoes
Rue 21: Necklace
Forever 21: Bracelets

Happy Friday!  What color can be worn all year long...you guessed it right. cobalt blue! I wanted to make my look come alive with a color that popped! This electric shade can be paired with absolutely every color imaginable from grays, pinks, reds, and even pastel colors. If you have not noticed, I love to experiment with different colors. As you mix and match colors, you develop an eye for coordinating fly outfits! I decided to use the standard black and white trend and juice it up with a bit of color. I also chose to wear two types of blacks with white stripes so it was not so uniform, but cool! How do you feel about cobalt blue and the black and white trend together, is it a good combo?

LIVE YOUR LIFE.....

 WHAT I WORE:
H&M: Jacket
Target: Top
H&M: Pants
Target: Booties
Forever 21 : Accessories
Dooney & Bourke : Satchel Bag

Happy Thursday! This post is dedicated to young lives that have been tragically cut short. I decided to wear this camouflage look because it reminds me of our troops that are fighting, sacrificing, and dying for our country.  Life is very precious and we can go at any time. We can die in a war or even walking down the street.  We often forget what is important in this world and do not think anything can happen to us. Life is too short and we have to live life to the fullest. I really give my condolences to Shane Gandee's family and friends. He was an upcoming MTV star on the show called Buckwild (and yes, I watched this show...it was completely hilarious) whose life was cut short at 21 years of age.  I really admired his tenacity to not care what people think and just to be himself. RIP…. Shane Gandee.  We all have one life and everyone has an expiration date. Let's be ready. Have nice day and be safe out there!

FARMER'S MARKET....

WHAT I WORE:
Forever 21: Cardigan
H&M: Dress
Forever 21: Buttoned-Up
 Target: Booties
Forever 21: Necklace
H&M: Tights

Happy Thursday! Who does not like the smell of cow manure and loud sounds of cows mooing & roosters crowing! (Okay…let's be real, we would not miss the cow manure). This burgundy background reminded me of life on the FARM and you have to admit this scene goes very well with my burgundy stockings!!!).  My angle was to combine the look of farm girl meets the 20th century. At first, I wore a black dress and decided to wear a jean button-up over the dress to keep this more of a polished look. Personally, fashion is just playing around with colors schemes and making your own unique clothing statement. Tell me what you think, do you like this combo of brown and black, and burgundy?

Important Note: I'm so happy to finally have a signature for my blog "Fashion Love Akinyi"...Your probably wondering why the heart is black.... I wanted to keep this heart black to compliment the pink, but trust me there is no black hearts over here....hehehe....Have a good day!

FANCY'S BACK......

WHAT I WORE: Unknown: Purple Dress I E20: Booties I Target: Tights I H&M: Fur Vest I Dooney & Bourke: Satchel Bag I Unknown: Scarf

Happy Thursday!!! Purple is making a big come back this season. I can go on and on about things to say about purple and let me tell you......

     Purple is Royalty........................................................Purple is overlooked
Purple is culture and art.........................................Purple is grape
                               Purple is imperial...............................Purple is Fashion
Purple is amethyst ...................................Purple is my DRESS!

I love wearing this color because it can be worn on any occasion. It all depends on how you coordinate your outfit. I chose to wear a fur vest over this purple dress paired with funky stockings and purple booties. I was shying away from wearing too many accessories with the intent to focus on the purple dress. The only accessory I added was a pair of multi-colored sunglasses with a purple hue. This look can be worn whenever and as always keep it classy.........What do you think? Am I ready for a dinner date? (that's right) wink!

MIGHT RUN BUT SURE CAN'T HIDE......

WHAT I WORE: Forever 21: Fur Jacket I H&M: Pants I Forever 21: Top I Rue 21: Necklace (I was wearing turquoise bubble necklace) I Target: Booties I Unknown: Bag

Happy Friday! How many of you love to shop in the mall? Ummm...I know every lady or girl goes to the mall more than they should ( or maybe every time they get paid...lol!)...I never thought this would be the day that I would hate coming to the mall. As soon as I started posing for the camera, I got chased down by a mall security guard. I literally had to watch my back as my photographer was sneaking in photos. The guard came over demanding that we not take photos in the mall. Every time I try to break the rules I always seem to get caught. You know that saying, you can run but you definitely cannot hide....

I am always thinking of new places to take photos for my blog and this idea turned out to be a big fail! On a much lighter note, I ended up taking nice photos outside of the mall in foggy and misty weather. I have seen a lot of blogs, pictures and videos where the setting was the mall. Apparently, there are strict rules in regards to taking photos in this kind of environment. It was not a real problem. Hey, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade! What do you think?
